Main research fields: Belgian expert in research on active tectonics. Since 2010, he has been introduced as foreign experts by the Huang Jiqing Youth Talent program and has been working for a long time at the Institute of Geology of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. In recent years, he has mainly engaged in the research on active tectonics, tectonic geomorphology, paleoclimate, cosmogenic nuclides dating on the Qinghai Tibetan Plateau. He has as the first author published 2 papers on Science, the top international academic journal, 10 papers on EPSL, QSR, GRL, Tectonophysics, etc., producing a certain influence in international research field he is engaged in. He is responsible for 1 project of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of basic scientific research business funds of the Institute of Geology, and participated in key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the land dispatching projects.
